I would say between 7-11 months before your wedding date is a good amount of time!! My couples typically book me the year prior so I always say, the sooner the better!! Besides, having your date locked in will give us some time to plan all the deets for your Engagement Session. This way you have your photos for wedding invites, your guest book and the venue your wedding day!

HOW MUCH TIME DO I NEED FOR WEDDING PHOTOS?

It can be so overwhelming creating a time line for your wedding day. One important thing to remember is photography plays a HUGE roll when it comes to timing, so if you've got that covered the rest should fall into place!! Here are some guidelines when thinking about how much time is needed.

Bride and Groom getting ready - 1.5 hours for the Bride and 1 hour for the Groom.
Family Formals and Bridal Party - 45 minutes. (Depending on size of family)
Bride and Groom Shots - 1 - 1.5 hours.

All weddings are different so please take this as a rough estimate. If you have booked me, I've got you covered. ;) All of my packages include guidance with scheduling and creating a seamless timeline.

DO YOU TRAVEL??

Absolutely!! I am a traveller at heart and I always have my passport handy.
If you've come across my bio and researched me enough to find my travel page, you already knew the answer. :) I started as a amateur photographer while backpacking around the world for a year. I began to really appreciate the fact that I could document all of the crazy, exciting things that my boyfriend and I experienced within that year that way I would be able to remember them forever. I actually never truly appreciated my photos until years passed. Isn’t that how it works, anyway? Later, I discovered my passion for documenting love stories, and with these two combined I feel like I have the best job I could have ever asked for!

This is one of my favourite things about booking your wedding! Majority of my packages come with an Engagement Session and it is for a GOOD reason. :) Feeling 100% comfortable with me on your wedding day is so important and this is THE perfect time to have some fun together and get to know each other!
